As leading law firm Cleaver Fulton Rankin celebrates its 125th year in business and recent award for The Legal 500 Northern Ireland Law Firm of the Year, the firm is also delighted to announce a new partnership with Marie Curie for its 2018 Charity of the Year.

Cleaver Fulton Rankin announces a new charity partnership with Marie Curie

As leading law firm Cleaver Fulton Rankin celebrates its 125th year in business and recent award for The Legal 500 Northern Ireland Law Firm of the Year, the firm is also delighted to announce a new partnership with Marie Curie for its 2018 Charity of the Year.

On the back of another successful year, Cleaver Fulton Rankin has raised over £10,500 for Barnardo’s Northern Ireland which will provide valuable support to the Young Carers service and Family Resource Centres in Northern Ireland. All fundraising activities were organised by Cleaver Fulton Rankin’s dedicated staff, which included events such as a ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ Cinema Night, Casino Night at the SS Nomadic, Valentine’s Day Quiz, Easter Bake Sale and taking part in the Belfast Marathon Relay. Head of Private Client at Cleaver Fulton Rankin, Director Michael Graham also ran the ‘Great North Run’ and raised over £2,000 for Barnardo’s. 

Sarah Burrows, Head of Charity at Cleaver Fulton Rankin said, “We are delighted to be supporting the valuable work of Marie Curie this year and are committed to making a tangible benefit to our local community. All staff are really looking forward to raising vital funds  which will support Marie Curie in the services they deliver to people living in Northern Ireland with terminal illness, and their families.”

Anne Hannan, Partnerships Manager at Marie Curie added, “We are delighted to have been chosen as Cleaver Fulton Rankin’s charity partner for 2018.  Our team at Marie Curie will work closely with their staff to raise awareness of the expert care, guidance and support we provide to terminal ill, and their families. We look forward to a fun year of fundraising events and volunteering. 

In addition to the firm’s Charity of the Year initiative, Cleaver Fulton Rankin has also supported various other charitable causes with which staff and client contacts have close affiliations.  Age NI, Will to Give, Rotary Club Belfast, Parenting NI and the National Autistic Society are just a few good causes which staff have provided support either financially, or in kind. In addition, many staff members also sit as voluntary trustees on a number of boards.
