WIBNI Awards- the Winners!

The Women in Business NI Awards 2011, supported by lead Sponsor, Deloitte and Media Partner, Irish News took place on the 17th of November at the Ramada Plaza Hotel, Shaws Bridge.

The range of entries from Multi nationals, to sole traders to start ups, illustrates the wonderful innovative, entrepreneurial and leadership skills possessed by Northern Ireland business women.

Over £3300 was raised on the night for the Chair of WIBNI Edel Doherty's chosen charity 'Fields of Life' which means a new fresh drinking water Well will be built in Uganda.

Orla Corr Business Development Director at The McAvoy Group (pictured left) was delighted to be awarded Outstanding Businesswoman of the Year Sponsored by Deloitte.

As 2011 Businesswoman of the Year, Orla becomes the first- ever 'Entrepreneur in Residence' in the new Leadership Institute at Queen's University Belfast's Management School.

Pictured with Enterprise Minister, Arlene Foster is Roseann Kelly, CEO of the Women in Business NI network, who won the Services to Enterprise Award at the Advantage Young Entrepreneur of the Year Awards hosted at Stormont recently.

Roseann has also recently received the Belfast Business Top 50 Award- her passion and vision for the network, coupled with a determined, conscientious and hard working style, has brought results beyond expectations.
