Lisnaskea Student Celebrates Academic Success

Nikita McGoldrick, from Lisnaskea, who has recently graduated with a BSc Hons Business Studies with Options degree at the Ulster University Business School in Magee, has won the Londonderry Junior Chamber Prize for Industrial Practice for achieving the top mark in her Placement.

Lisnaskea Student Celebrates Academic Success
The Award was presented at the annual Ulster University Business School’s Student Awards event organised by the Department of International Business. 
 
Speaking at the Awards ceremony, Dr Lisa Bradley, Head of the Department said, “These Awards recognise the top performers across the range of Business, Marketing and Accounting related programmes. These students have demonstrated academic excellence, innovative practice and critical thinking in their subject areas, preparing them well for graduate employment and helping address the skills gap in Northern Ireland. They are excellent ambassadors for the Ulster University Business School at Magee and we wish them every success in the future".
 
A total of twelve employer sponsored awards were presented.  Sponsors included Anderson Spratt, Bank of Ireland, Diageo, CIM, Derry City Council, Invest Northern Ireland, Londonderry Junior Chamber, Maydown Precision Engineering, McDaid, McCullough and Moore, and Rutledge Joblink.
