Women in Business sponsored the "Young Business Person of the Year" award category at The Belfast Telegraph 2010 Business Awards ceremony on 25th March 2010
Roseann Kelly WIB's CEO stated that "WIB see themselves as very much part of the business community which why is they were keen to sponsor the award." "The category for the under 35's recognises outstanding work of young professionals in any aspect of business activity – male or female. We were please to see that the young business person award was still available because we see that as very much looking towards the future. When running your own business there is no glass ceiling– there is only the ceiling that you put on yourself."

The recipient of the award was Greg Wilson of Seopia Ltd , a company initially aimed at helping other companies get better results for their websites and search engines. The award was presented by our Chair Edel Doherty.
