Roseann Kelly, CEO of Women in Business took part in the Habitat NI Big Build Week in Romania which took place from the 2nd– 9th of October 2010.
She joined a team of 120 volunteers from across Northern Ireland who built homes for 12 families! Each family now live in a house with proper sanitation, heating and cooking facilities– something none of them had before. The volunteers worked alongside the families to build their homes and the sense of achievement everyone afelt at the end of the build week was unbelievable.
Roseann said "The Big Build demonstrated in every way that focused positive energy is a force to be reckoned with, a joy to witness and a privilege to be a part off".
