Women in Business members swapped their desks for hard hats when they volunteered on the building site to help build 6 homes on Madrid Street in East Belfast.
The volunteers from Women in Business have already proved to be handy around the house completing 6 days building so far. WIB volunteer and TV personality, Pamela Ballantine, rolled her sleeves up and got to work last week.
As well as working locally Women in Business partnered with Habitat's Big Build 2010 at the beginning of October which saw 125 volunteers from Northern Ireland build 12 homes in just one week in Beius, Romania.
Roseann Kelly, Chief Executive Officer of Women in Business, who has just returned from Beius, Romania as part of the Big Build team said "The Big Build demonstrated in every way that focused positive energy is a force to be reckoned with, a joy to witness and a privilege to be a part off."
