Now open for entrants, local businesses are being encouraged to get their entries in early for the Belfast Business Awards.

The Belfast Business Awards celebrates excellence amongst Belfast's business community and with 21 award categories to choose from there is something for everyone.

Free to enter, award categories range from Best Marketing Initiative to Best Green Business and are open to all businesses regardless of size or sector. The only thing we do ask is that your business must be located within the Belfast City Council area.

How to enter
The only way to win awards is by entering them, and we have made entering our awards as simple as possible. To enter, follow these five easy steps.

Judging for all award categories is entirely independent from the management of the awards to ensure that the highest standards of integrity are maintained. Find out more information about our judging criteria. Please see our terms and conditions for entry.

Important dates for your diary
Closing date for entries: 4pm on Friday 18 February 2011
Announcement of shortlisted companies: Week commencing Monday 7 March 2011
Awards ceremony: Thursday 14 April 2011 at Belfast City Hall
