WIB NI Network - Growing Fast

We are delighted to announce that membership has now passed the 400 mark.  This demonstrates clearly to us that there is a growing demand for networking and being a member of Women in Business NI is becoming a key element going forward to many a Sales and Promotions Plan.   As part of the overall strategy, we intend to grow membership Northern Ireland wide, this growth will bring more diversity and opportunities for members.  However, we still need to build on our current membership base, so don't forget to keep referring potential members and recommending Women in Business NI to your friends, work colleagues and business contacts.  We are currently running a Member Incentive and are giving away 10 FREE subscriptions for Ulster Business for the first 10 referrals received  by 21st April.

More good news, Women in Business NI have been shortlisted for the Belfast City Councils' 'Belfast Business Awards 2011' in the 'Best Marketing Initiative' category.  The Best Marketing Initiative demonstrates excellence and outstanding achievements in developing and implementing a marketing strategy that has delivered measurable business benefits such as increased profit, sales, usage or awareness.  The awards take place on Thursday 14th April at Belfast City Hall, so keep your fingers crossed!

Now to the events, there are two that I particularly wish to mention; the Marketing Masterclass on Wednesday 4th May which will be delivered by Elaine McKeown MCIM, Managing Director EMK Consulting Ltd.  This  interactive Marketing Masterclass is designed for those businesses that recognize the importance of marketing in achieving sustainable growth. Elaine will conclude on a personalized set of actions that you can take away and develop into an integrated marketing plan that will achieve your business objectives. The second event to mention is the Business Forum 2011 which takes place on Thursday 19th May and is our next main event.  We are very grateful to Stranmillis College for kindly supporting our Forum and for hosting the event in the main building.  This event starts at 9.30am and will close at 2 pm.  From attending this event you will gain business advice, knowledge, support and mentoring from industry leaders and share experiences with like-minded business women, not forgetting the valuable networking opportunity.  We plan to have 2 key speakers and 3 Speaker sessions, there will also be 2 Minute of Fame Opportunities for Members at each session.  To guarantee your place, please book this event soon as we are starting to fill up.
