Programmes Update

Programmes compliment the core work of Women in Business, giving our members the opportunity to access additional support.

Other programmes, such as Connect and Power of 4, support women at the beginning of their journey, ensuring they reach their full potential.

WIB Choir

The Women in Business choir stunned and entertained at our Annual Awards this month. Having rehearsed for weeks to polish their performance, the choir gave beautiful renditions of ‘Sisters are Doin’ it for Themselves’ and ‘Time After Time’. More than 30 women lifted the rafters adding a new meaning to networking!  Choir practice returns on Tues. 29th Nov, and again will be welcoming new members.

If you’re interested in taking part in the choir, follow this LINK to find out more.

Power of 4

Power of 4 has now launched with our current cohort of 17 women passionate about launching their own businesses.

Power of 4 is a start-up programme, offering 6 months training, mentoring, role model support and helping to build peer networks. We have a fantastic mix of women and business ideas, many with products they’d like to market. We are hopeful of offering further places on the programme in the new year.

Mentoring Programme

Our Mentoring Programme is an additional service we offer to members. Cohort 3 is now underway with mentors and mentees holding their first meetings. Launched in October 2015, the programme has been hugely successful, facilitating over 50 mentoring relationships.

Mentoring is a developmental partnership between mentor and mentee. Mentors share their knowledge, skills, information, perspective and networks to support their mentee’s personal and professional development in a hugely rewarding relationship for both. The next cohort of the programme will be delivered in the new year.
