The Only Vote that REALLY Matters!

We want your vote!

Women in Business are delighted to announce our Power of 4 programme has been shortlisted for the Skills and Opportunities Fund.

Only seven projects in Northern Ireland have been shortlisted, and we’re very excited to be one of them. Successful projects are identified through a public vote, and that’s where you come in. Register your vote and help women fulfil their dream of self-employment and reach their full potential.

Power of 4 is a start-up programme for women of all ages and backgrounds. This funding will allow us to support 60 women to explore self-employment. Northern Ireland currently has no female-specific entrepreneurship programme. With this funding we aim to provide a valuable, practical, supportive and effective route for women dreaming of a move into self-employment.

Power of 4 is a hugely successful programme that really works. The programme offers female-specific support, bringing together women who are on a similar journey towards building a viable business. To date 50 women have taken part in the full programme, receiving intensive enterprise training, professional one-to-one mentoring, as well as peer support. Contact with role models, other successful business women, was also a hugely important element. Almost 70% of those who took part went on to launch their business.

So please, register your vote, and help us inspire more women to launch their own business.
