Women in Business Programmes Update

Recruitment has begun for four of our fantastic programmes: Your Voice, Grit & Grace, WIB Choir and Mentoring Programme.

Your Voice- 20th and 21st March

Designed and delivered by Andrew Toogood of Proclaim Consulting, ‘Your Voice’ will give you the practical skills you need to make great presentations, but also to communicate more effectively on a day-to-day basis. This course helps you understand what audiences find most engaging, how they listen and what tools good public speakers use, and how you can put these principles into practice.

Grit and Grace- 15th February, 20th March, 3rd May

Due to popular demand, we are offering an extra cohort of Grit and Grace, starting February. Delivered in partnership with the William J Clinton Leadership Institute, Grit and Grace is a leadership development programme, designed specifically for women to become confident leaders. Building on their own strengths and values, the programme incorporates practical tools and skill-building sessions to ensure participants leave with strategies they can use every day to develop their careers.

Choir- new Spring term now underway

We are always looking for new recruits to the Women in Business Choir. No singing experience is necessary, just enthusiasm and team spirit. The choir meets every Tuesday, ably guided by musical director Katie Richardson. The interactivity of being in a choir is also an ideal networking environment and of course, it’s good for the soul!

Now recruiting Mentors- WIB Mentoring Programme- new dates to be announced

The WIB Mentoring Programme is now in its 3rd year. Many women join WIB to benefit from the programme as a mentee, but it’s also a great development opportunity for mentors. Mentors report huge personal satisfaction contributing to another woman’s development. It helps build their own leadership and interpersonal skills.
