The new Women in Business Chair is Nichola Robinson from Bombardier. With over 22 years’ experience in Aerospace Supply Chain, Nichola is currently a member of the leadership team at Bombardier Aerospace Belfast.
Nichola leads a team of sourcing professionals with responsibility for the planning and execution of sourcing strategies, managing the introduction of new programmes, work transfer processes and low-cost country development.
Her leadership responsibilities also include Value Engineering within Bombardier Belfast, where she leads a team of engineering and sourcing professionals who develop and implement innovative concepts.
A graduate in Management Operations from University of Jordanstown, she also has a professional coaching qualification and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply. At the Chair’s Lunch, Nichola will outline her desire to clearly align business success to education.
The Women in Business mission is to create a new economy, one built on inclusive growth. Young people are the future and we have a responsibility to equip them through the provision of the best education possible. Education is crucial for business to achieve its full potential and take its place on the global stage.
Our guest speakers are Professor Deirdre Heenan from the Ulster University and a lower 6th student who will share their vision for the future. This year's Chair's Lunch will have the theme The Business of Education.
