Belfast Met Business Incubation Units – Spotlight on Success
New year, New Decade, New Surroundings…?
The business incubation suite at Belfast Met’s e3 building, Springvale Campus is a unique, modern hub promoting innovation and start-up, as well as facilitating the needs of established organisations.  As a creative and collaborative environment, it is strategically placed to add real value to businesses by providing the right amount and type of trusted support, at the right time.
The process of incubation is much more than bricks and mortar. It provides synergy and support for entrepreneurs and encourages peer-to-peer sharing of successes and challenges with business owners facing similar issues.  As a hub for business resources, e3 connects clients to programmes, funding opportunities, and entrepreneurial resources that accelerate growth and profitability.

At e3 our goal is to build a culture where businesses learn from each other and collaborate on projects. We are not just about the space but developing people to gain results; enhance enterprise and promote innovative practices for business development.
One of our many valued tenants is TriMedika Ltd.  Co-founders Dr Roisin Molloy (CEO) and Julie Brien (COO) have been located at e3 since October 2016.  Trimedika designs, develops, manufactures and distributes innovative medical devices to clinics and hospitals internationally. The company focuses on non-contact clinical thermometers which save hospitals money, releases nurses’ time to care for patients and optimise infection control as TriMedika devices are 100% non-invasive. Their non-contact clinical thermometer TRITEMP™ is already in use extensively across the NHS, both in the UK and Northern Ireland.

The company’s offices in the incubation suite at e3 have given TriMedika an excellent location, trusted support and networking opportunities – all key requirements for a flourishing business.
‘Our connection with the team at e3 came at just the right time; we were looking for larger offices with seamless managed facilities and met the e3 team at a networking event with Ulster Bank’s Entrepreneur Accelerator programme. Our decision to move into e3 was immediate!’ commented Julie Brien of TriMedika.
TriMedika frequently meets with potential supply partners and visiting distributors at e3 and all are impressed by the state of the art facilities and warm welcome received by the e3 team.
