Public appointment opportunity - Chair of the NI Building Regulations Advisory Committee
The Department of Finance is seeking to appoint a Chair of NIBRAC. The Committee advises the Department on the amendment of building regulations and other associated matters. A separate recruitment competition to recruit NIBRAC members will follow in the new year.

Are you aware of Northern Ireland Building Regulations Advisory Committee (NIBRAC)? It is a statutory body within the remit of the Department of Finance, which has an important role in providing advice to the Department on the amendment of building regulations and on other associated matters.
The Committee contributes to the detailed development of building regulation legislation and the technical booklet guidance that is used daily by the construction industry.
The Department is seeking to appoint a Committee Chair. If you are a professional in the construction industry, this could be your opportunity to head this Committee and to review measures being put forward by the Department. Applications from women are particularly welcome.
