Translink has achieved Gold Standard in CORE – The Standard for Responsible Business. This is the highest scoring level of the standard for businesses in Northern Ireland.
This prestigious standard, awarded by responsible business network Business in the Community, is an independent assessment of the commitment of an organisation to responsible business, improving the wellbeing for all in Northern Ireland
The panel were highly complimentary about Translink’s submission and were particularly impressed with the “breadth and depth of responsible business activity’”.
Translink Group Chief Executive Chris Conway said: “This is a tremendous achievement for the organisation, I am extremely proud of the entire Translink team right across the business.
“Over recent years we have developed and delivered a range of corporate responsibility projects and initiatives aligned to our strategy and this award recognises Translink as a leading business in this area.
“This has been very much demonstrated in the last year with our response to the pandemic, keeping vital services going for essential and key workers. Now we are working to build back better and more responsibly for a greener and healthier recovery using sustainable public transport”.
