Danske Bank’s Gender Diversity Network celebrated International Women’s Day 2020 by showcasing three pioneering business women at a special event in its Donegal Square West branch.

Following an opening address by Danske Bank’s Chief Executive, Kingston, guests heard from three inspirational speakers who shared their stories of personal and business success, the drivers for that success and the long term impact they strive to make on society.

Carol Rossborough is CEO and Founder of Esther, a peer to peer giving platform allowing donors to give directly to people living in poverty in their own cities.

Orla Smyth owns the Nordic-inspired coffee shop, Kaffe O, and is a world transplant games record holder.

Maeve Monaghan is CEO of the NOW Group, an award winning social enterprise focusing on supporting people into employment, training and volunteering.

Nicola McCleery, Chair of the Danske Gender Diversity Network said: “Supporting gender balanced progression at Danske is so important to us, our International Women’s Day celebration was a wonderful example of how we can learn and grow, inspire and empower each other.”
