The Rt. Hon Julian Smith, former Secretary of State for Northern Ireland, will be among a line-up of distinguished speakers at the 2022 Women in Business Chair’s Lunch.
In what is the first major business event to take place since the 2022 elections, the WIB Chair’s lunch will welcome over 300 business leaders and entrepreneurs to the Culloden Estate and Spa on Wednesday 15th June at 12pm.
This key event, delivered in partnership with Queen’s University Belfast, will shine a spotlight on the economic contribution that women bring and the potential for it to be Even Better if we could deliver the truly inclusive economy we all want.
Nichola Robinson, Chair of Women in Business, said: “We’re delighted to welcome the Rt. Hon Julian Smith as this year’s keynote speaker. Julian’s support of gender diversity was very visible through his engagement with Women in Business during his time in office. He will share his views on the importance of diversity for addressing both societal and economic issues at an NI, UK and global level.
As we continue to expand our social enterprises across the Women in Business Group, this is a hugely exciting time and the 2022 Chair’s Lunch is a wonderful opportunity to network with peers, discuss and debate the issues, both micro and macro, affecting business as we collectively move forward towards an Even Better NI.”
