Being an aerobic activity, it has been known to improve circulation, enhance the immune system and boost mental health! Not to mention a great way to meet new people and network.
Music and singing has transformative powers. It brings people together, creates new, more connected communities and helps people to empower themselves and build their confidence in both their professional and personal lives by raising their voices and stepping out of their comfort zones.
When do WIB Choir meet?
The WIB Choir meets every Tuesday 6.15- 7.45pm and singing commences at 6.45pm, at the Glandore Offices, Belfast.

Who is it for?
Everyone is welcome. You don't need to be a professional singer, just be enthusiastic. We sing a great range of songs for all abilities. Please don't worry if you don't read music or haven't sung in 20 years!
The choir is a relaxed, informal group who are looking to increase their numbers to enjoy more challenges.
Come along and join the WIB Choir as we help you hit the right note, releasing your happy hormones, as sing and have fun!

Meet our Choirmaster...
The WIB choir is led by choirmaster Katie Richardson. Katie is a musician, producer, creative consultant and facilitator and is passionate about building confidence and creating change through the arts.
She makes her own music under the name of 'Hex Hue', and has also work with many other bands and musical projects over the years. She has supported artists such as BellX1, Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds, Van Morrison, All Saints, Jessica Hoop, Foy Vance, Duke Special and many more.
As a composer, musical director, sound designer and events producer, she has worked with many theatres and film companies throughout Ireland and beyond.
Katie has directed choirs for many years. She currently directs 5 choirs in various workplaces and at local festivals and arts organisations.
