Module 1: Communicating with Impact in a Virtual World
Andrew looks at some key challenges and tools for having personal impact in a virtual environment. This interactive session will help you through innovative thinking, psychological strategy and really practical take aways so that you and your business can thrive.
  • How communication is changing virtually
  • Understanding the psychology of impactful communication
  • The specific challenges we need to overcome?
  • Practical strategies for better communication
  • Providing clear feedback and effective support in a virtual environment.
Module 2: Make better thinking your competitive advantage
The world we operate in is volatile, uncertain, complex and uncertain. In this session we examine the power of rebel ideas - diverse thinking. Understanding these differences in thinking, and how to harness them, enables teams to tackle problems in new ways and increase their productivity. For organisations, building a culture of inclusion around these varied perspectives strengthens that culture, builds agility in change, and ultimately drives better business results.
  • Learn how to leverage cognitive diversity as a strategic advantage
  • Discover how individuals own thinking guides the success of their team
  • Consider how teams think (and work) and the potential to make or break their organisations
  • Understand the primary derailers of communication, innovation, and productivity within and across functions.
Module 3: Assertiveness- how can we adopt assertive behaviours
Being assertive is more than a communication style; it’s a behavior and a way of thinking.
Learning how to be assertive enables us to have an honest conversation with others while also
preventing adverse effects on our relationships. It removes the fear and concerns over how we might say something. It’s a way of thinking that allows us to be confident in how we
speak and how we make decisions.
  • What is Assertive Behaviour and why does it matter?
  • Defining Assertive, Aggressive and Submissive Behaviours
  • Obstacles to acting more assertively
  • Improving your Self-Esteem
  • Handling conflict
Module 4: Crucial Conversations- How can we talk about what really matters?
It's human nature to back away from discussions we fear will hurt us or make things worse. We're masters at avoiding these tough conversations. But it doesn't have to be this way. If you know how to handle (even master) crucial conversations, you can step up to and effectively hold tough conversations about virtually any topic.
  • Move from an adversarial to a collaborative approach in conflict resolution
  • Initiate and conduct skilled conversations leading to behavioural change
  • Understand and manage their reactive emotions during on-job encounters
  • Identify and alter unproductive conversational habits from reaction to response
  • Use calming communication skills to bring upset people to the point of reason
  • Conduct and survive difficult problem-solving discussions

“I loved every minute of this course, I absorbed all the content and found it so interesting. Connecting with other women was one of my favorite parts of the course. The stories Andrew shared to bring the content to life really helped me understand how it could be applied in reality and the entire course was attention grabbing and the weeks flew by. I will use every learning gained from this course in both my professional and personal life. Thank you! ”
