We have seven programmes that we offer in total that cover a whole range of areas, from leadership skills to presentation skills. We have a free mentoring programme for everyone, a return to work programme for women on maternity leave and for a bit of excellent networking and relaxing we have our WIB choir. Here are some we think will be of particular interest to you.

Grit & Grace Programme
A fantastic three-day leadership development programme to help you or your staff develop your/their own unique style of management. Our Grit & Grace Programme is run by the QUB William J Clinton Leadership Institute and comes highly recommended by past participants.

Your Voice
Presenting is also part and parcel of life, whether in team meetings or to a board, to your peers or training others, it is always good to hone your skills. Your Voice aims to develop exceptional presentation and communication skills and improve the performance of leaders, executive owners & managers through a combination of learning and practical application.

The Mentoring Programme
The Mentoring Programme is a free one year programme which offers one-to-one mentoring with an experienced senior executive or business owner who will help you in whatever areas you feel you need support. We run two cohorts annually. As a senior executive, we would offer you peer to peer mentoring but would also offer the opportunity to mentor others. You would be eligible to apply for a qualification and it all helps towards those CIPD points!

We host monthly networking events and have a plethora of events that are targeted at SMEs & corporates for great networking opportunities. If your company is interested in hosting an event, please do get in touch, it’s a great opportunity to raise awareness and showcase your services or products.

Our two-monthly Spotlight on Success Series which features two fabulous speakers following on from a two-course lunch in exclusive company; our annual Leadership Conference, the Chair’s Lunch and the Award’s Dinner together see around 700 business women (and men) attending to support and network.

Annual Leadership Conference

We have our annual Leadership Conference in May which provides a fantastic platform for over 200 men & women to gather together and be inspired by fabulous speakers. Here is the video from this year’s event.

Women in Business Awards

Women in Business Awards is a great spectacle to celebrate, reward and acknowledge the hard work and achievements of some of the most successful, entrepreneurial and inspiring business women throughout Northern Ireland. The annual Awards allow all sectors and industries to come together for an evening of celebration to recognise the best of home grown talent and the valuable contribution that women make to the economic life of Northern Ireland.

Chair's Lunch

We also have our Chair’s Lunch which is attended by around 350 business women & men and offers great networking opportunities.

All these events are to provide you with an opportunity to grow your network, to upskill, learn new things and to be inspired. We have only the best speakers at these events, and your take home nuggets will be gold.

Spotlight on Success

Another great networking opportunity is our Spotlight on Success Series

This is a lunchtime networking speaker series. Each Spotlight lunch has two speakers who are at the top of their profession or are a successful business owner. The lunches run from 12-2pm, includes a two-course meal and great networking opportunity in exclusive company. £25 + VAT for members (£40 + VAT for non-members)

Profile, Self Promotion / Company Promotion

We have lots of ways to promote you and your company. As a new member, you are invited to write a profile piece to introduce yourself to the membership on our Member’s Monday. We have our monthly ezine where you can submit news for free and Women in Business has a Tuesday Guest blog and a bi-annual magazine which you can contribute to too.

Member's Monday

As a member you are invited to write 250 word profile and attach a photo of yourself to introduce yourself to the membership. This will go out on our social media - Member’s Monday. Across Linked In, Facebook & Twitter your profile can be accessed by our 17K followers.

Tuesday Guest Blog

We are always on the look out for new talent to contribute. What better way to show case your knowledge and the services of your company than to write a blog for us. They are fully attributable and will again be sent around the 17K followers on social media.

Monthly Ezine

We have our monthly ezine which you can submit news to for free. There is high competition for the coveted space on the ezine which is emailed to 8.5K people. This article should be between 3-400 words plus an image.

Members' News on the Website

As a member you are encouraged to contribute your company’s news and successes to the Women in Business website. Raise your profile and let everyone know what is going on in your company.

Advertising in the bi-annual Magazine

We have a bi-annual magazine that you can contribute to too, this is printed and sent out to 2000 companies in NI

Membership Pricing

Membership is only £35 per year if you sign up by Direct Debit. If you require to pay by invoice membership is £50. Please check to make sure your company does not already have corporate membership and do get in touch if you think that they would be interested. Corporate membership rates are for 10+ members and is £40 + VAT.
