Timely Careers is hiring - Marketing and Communications Executive Timely Careers, part of The WiB Group, is hiring a Part-Time Marketing and Communications Executive.

Timely Careers is a social enterprise that enables, empowers and connects women returners, as well as those seeking flexibility, with opportunities through career support, coaching, training and a dedicated jobs board. As the marketing and communications executive, you will be responsible for supporting the business through the creation and implementation of marketing strategies and effective communications covering mailouts, social media, website and phone.

Salary: £26,000 - £28,000 pro rata.

Main Duties

Campaign Management: Assist in planning, executing and monitoring marketing campaigns across various channels, including social media, email (including Mail Chimp) and print.

Content Creation: Develop and curate engaging content for marketing materials, including social media, website, blog posts, newsletters and promotional materials.

Market Research: Conduct ongoing market research to identify trends, target audiences, competitive analysis to inform marketing strategies and develop ongoing attraction strategies.

Data Analysis: Analyse marketing data and metrics to measure the effectiveness of campaigns, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.

Event Coordination: Support the planning and execution of events, webinars and other promotional activities.
Brand Management: Assist in maintaining and promoting brand consistency across all marketing and communication channels.

Administrative Support: Provide administrative support, including handling correspondence, producing monthly reports, building and maintaining databases and issuing candidate emails.

Candidate and Employer Engagement: Manage and respond to enquiries and feedback across various platforms to enhance customer relationships and satisfaction and advise candidates on relevant events, coaching and skills training that are available to them via the platform.


Criteria

Experience: Proven experience in a marketing/content creation/communications role, with a strong understanding of marketing/communication principles and strategies.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office, marketing software and tools, email marketing platforms (Mail Chimp), social media management tools, and analytics software (e.g., Google Analytics).

Content Creation Skills: Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with the ability to create engaging and persuasive content.

Analytical Abilities: Excellent analytical skills with the ability to record data accurately on spreadsheets, interpret data, generate insights and make data-driven decisions.

Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are key to this role, with the ability to interact effectively with team members, candidates and stakeholders.

Organisational Skills: Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.

Creativity: Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail and design.

Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn and adapt.

Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and handle unexpected challenges in a fast-paced environment.  The ability to work autonomously and be a self-starter.

Initiative: Ability to work autonomously, make decisions using own initiative and think outside the box.


Hours of work: General working hours are 9am-5pm, with flexibility offered. Some flexibility may be required when attending events. 

This role is offered on a part-time basis (3 days per week). We are open to considering options that work for you and for us. The role is hybrid with a minimum of 1 day in the office.
