Take your business idea to the next level by submitting your application for the All-Island Female Entrepreneurs Pitching Competition. Make the most of the application process as an opportunity to transform your business ideas into a reality.

26 women will then have the chance to pitch ideas of business innovation and growth potential to an online panel of expert judges across the island; who will then decide on our 6 pitch award winners, offering £3,000/€3,000 each, split across 2 categories:

Category 1: Idea Stage/Pre-revenue
You will be working on your idea. You may have carried out market research or tested the market. You may have attended business start up programmes. You will not yet be 'trading' but you may have sold a few products as part of “testing” your business idea. If you have had any sales, they will only be very nominal, and not more than £2,000/€2,000 sales in the past 12 months. You must not have pre-revenue investment from external funders of over £30,000/€30,000.
Category 2: Early start-up/ Trading
You will be making or selling a product, providing a business to business or business to consumer service. This category includes technology/software based products such as an app or technology solution. You must not be trading more than 3 years or achieving an annual turnover over £30,000/€30,000.

If you're unsure which category to apply for, email roisin@womeninbusinessni.com for guidance. Women in Business reserve the right to assign you to a different category if they believe it's a better fit.

Our 6 pitch award winners will then be invited to pitch for a further £2,000/€2,000 on stage at the All-Island Female Entrepreneurs Conference | Thursday 6th June at the Europa Hotel, Belfast - showcasing to a cross border audience while securing essential funds for your start up business.
