Learn to Fly with Connect

Connect is our support programme specifically for women who are currently unemployed or working fewer than 16 hours per week. Connect can help whether you’re thinking of returning to work or becoming self-employed.

The programme has helped many women reach their goals, regardless of their circumstances. If you’ve recently been made redundant you may be thinking it’s time for a change of direction. You may have been away from work, concentrating on family, and now is the time to think of your next steps. Or you may recently graduated, you’re planning your future and would like some support to help you in the right direction.

Whatever your circumstances, Connect offers a combination of masterclasses, 1-2-1 mentoring and start-up training. All our mentors are very experienced and specialise in providing very practical advice and guidance to help you reach your goals.

The programme is absolutely FREE and is designed to be flexible. You can access as much or as little of the programme as you need, fitting in with your other commitments.

Whether you’d like to find a new job or you’re thinking of self-employment, Connect can provide you with the expert advice, training and support to help you achieve your goals.

"The Connect Programme has been instrumental in motivating and supporting me on the road to setting-up my own business. The advice provided has been invaluable and I've met some great people along the way. Whether you're just at the initial idea stage or almost set to go with your business, there is help and support for everyone. I cannot recommend this programme highly enough to other women."
Heather, Belfast

The programme is delivered in partnership with East Belfast Enterprise and is funded by Department of Employment and Learning, European Social Fund and Belfast City Council.

Let Connect help you to make 2016 your most rewarding year yet!
