WIB Welcomes Three New Team Members

In order to deliver to our growing membership we have increased the Women in Business team and are delighted to welcome three new members. Jenny Scullion who worked for 10 years in a community fundraising management role with Action Medical Research is our new Business Development Manager. Lauren Huston who has over 10 years experience in events management is the new Events and Programmes Manager and Aaron Patterson, a recent Master graduate in December 2016, is our new Administrator.

WIB Welcomes Three New Team Members

In order to deliver to our growing membership we have increased the Women in Business team and are delighted to welcome three new members.

Jenny Scullion who worked for 10 years in a community fundraising management role with Action Medical Research is our new Business Development Manager. Lauren Huston who has over 10 years experience in events management is the new Events and Programmes Manager and Aaron Patterson, a recent Master graduate in December 2016, is our new Administrator.

As business development manager, Jenny is responsible for identifying and developing the strategic growth within Women in Business. Maintaining and growing the network’s membership and optimising revenue streams as well as exploring opportunities for development and key partners.

Jenny is looking forward to meeting and working with the current members and enticing new members to come on board.

Lauren manages all Women in Business events including Annual Awards, Conferences and Chairs Lunch.  She is responsible for Women in Business programmes, such as Back in Business, Your Voice, WIB Choir and Grit & Grace.
 
Lauren has a degree in Business Studies and qualifications in Marketing and Leadership & Management.  She is particularly interested in developing and running both events and programmes designed to support and help individuals reach their full potential and grow their business.

Aaron manages the day-to-day administration of the organisation including the events, memberships, and the programmes. He holds a Master’s degree in Social Justice and Conflict Transformation from the Senator George J Mitchell Institute for Global Peace, Security and Justice. Prior to this Aaron gained his BA Honours in International Relations and Conflict Studies from the Queen’s University Belfast. Aaron is interested in aiding the advancement of equality and representation of minority groups in different sections of society, including women in business.
