Senior Consultant, Managed Analytics and AI services team - Deloitte
Carey Bell is a Senior Consultant at Deloitte working within the Managed Analytics and AI Services team. She started her career in academia obtaining a PhD in Rehabilitation Sciences, before working as a Clinical Physiologist (Neurophysiology) across the Belfast Health & Social Care Trust. Alongside this work she trained, assessed and mentored Clinical Physiology degree students in the clinical setting, as well as lecturing at the University of Ulster. From 2012 Carey worked as a statistician within the Northern Ireland Statistics and Research Agency (NISRA), based at the Department of Health.
Carey joined Deloitte in 2018 and since joining has worked on a range of projects across the private and public sectors, as a developer and more recently in project delivery. These roles have given her the opportunity to work across various technologies; such as Microsoft SQL server, SPSS and Talend, and the opportunity to be involved in highly impactful digital transformation programmes. Her current role is within the Public Sector, supporting in the delivery of a data and digital transformation project.
Senior Consultant within Deloitte’s Managed Analytics and AI services team
Clare joined Deloitte in 2015 after successfully completing the Deloitte Data Analytics Academy that was run in association with the Department of Economy and Belfast Met. Before joining Deloitte, Clare obtained two degrees from Ulster University, a Bachelor’s of Science in Geography and a Post Graduate Diploma in Geographic Information Systems (GIS).
Since joining Deloitte Clare has worked on a wide range of projects in various roles including; Development, Testing, and as Business Analyst. She has also worked across many business sectors but has a particular focus on Public Sector work. On Clare’s current engagement she has been working on helping an organisation create a Target Operating Model, a data strategy, as well as developing some proof of concept and Power BI reports. Her personal highlights in her career including testing a new ticketing and reporting system for a transport company, and helping an organisation to define business and technology requirements for a large scale digital transformation project.
Outside of her project work Clare has actively been involved within Deloitte in the Respect and Inclusion team, helping to create an inclusive and diverse work force. She also enjoys participating in the development of others acting as a mentor to summer placement students and bright starts.

Senior Consultant Data Scientist – Allstate Northern Ireland
With a Master’s degree in Applied Mathematics and a PhD in Applied Mathematics and Theoretical Physics, Maeve is now a Senior Consultant Data Scientist within the Data, Decisions and Discovery department that branches across the Allstate enterprise in NI and in the US. Maeve has been working for Allstate since January 2019, analysing Telematics data to understand how driving behaviour influences insurance losses.
In her current role, Maeve is primarily involved in building predictive models and automated solutions for customers with telematics policies, which means processing and manipulating GPS data. Maeve is also involved in Allstate’s Women in Technology employee resource group, where she is analysing and producing results around Allstate’s employee diversity. This year she included the data analysis that helped the company become the first company in NI to win a Silver Diversity Charter Mark award. In addition, she has helped to set up a mentoring programme for females in Allstate to help them achieve their career goals.

With a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science, Deepanutia is a Senior ETL Consultant at Allstate since 2014, specialising in Insurance Marketing. Deepanutia has gained Internal Certifications in Ab>Initio, Python, and Shell Scriptingover, with over 12 years of experience in designing and implementing data integration, data management and data analytics programs for various banking and insurance clients.
