This practical and interactive workshop will help participants build stronger stakeholder relationships through better communication, influencing and relationship management skills. Participants will consider the different audiences they need to influence, how to prioritise stakeholder relationships and why different stakeholders require different approaches.

Using practical exercises and behavioural awareness tools, the session will help participants better understand differing stakeholder needs, communication preferences and influencing styles. The workshop will also explore how greater self-awareness, questioning and listening skills can strengthen relationships, improve communication and support more positive engagement with colleagues, senior leaders, partners and other key stakeholders.

During the session you will learn to:

  • Understand the importance of effective stakeholder relationships
  • Identify and prioritise key stakeholders
  • Explore how different stakeholders think, communicate and respond
  • Adapt communication and influencing approaches to different stakeholder needs and behaviours
  • Develop practical questioning and listening skills to strengthen relationships and engagement
  • Build greater trust, collaboration and positive working relationships
