Roy is a seasoned financial professional with over 21 years of experience in the financial advice industry. He holds a Diploma in Financial Planning and a bachelor’s degree in Finance, and has dedicated more than 20,000 hours to advancing financial literacy and professional development. Before transitioning into financial services, Roy completed 22 years of distinguished service in the Armed Forces, where he developed a strong foundation in leadership, resilience, and strategic decision making skills that continue to shape his work today. Roy currently serves as a Senior Financial Analyst with Allstate Northern Ireland, bringing a practical, disciplined, and people focused approach to financial analysis and education. Outside of his professional work, Roy enjoys spending time with his wife, two children, and their dog. He is passionate about travel, the outdoors, board games, and reading, and counts climbing Mount Fuji as one of his most memorable achievements.
