With over 15 years’ experience in the hospitality and tourism industry, Maria has a wealth of experience in customer service, management and client relationships. Maria has spent several years within the logistics industry managing performance through data. During her career, Maria has received many awards and recognitions for her exceptional service, voted for by customers and industry peers. Now almost 4 years at the WiB group, Maria has helped hundreds of women to grow both personally and professionally through the Centre of Learning, continuing her passion for delivering excellent customer service and helping everyone to develop and achieve their full potential. Maria’s most challenging (and rewarding) experience to date has been the arrival of her little girl, returning recently back to work from a year on Maternity leave, and is excited to bring her learnings and experiences to help others through similar experiences.

Breastfeeding Expert, Author & Founder of Boobingit and The Nourish Consultancy

Ruth Maguire is a leading breastfeeding expert, speaker, and author, with a passion for supporting parents through the realities of feeding and early parenthood. She is the founder of Boobingit.com, a global online platform dedicated to sharing honest stories, expert insights, and up-to-date news about breastfeeding and infant feeding. Through her second venture, The Nourish Consultancy, Ruth works with employers, organisations, and policymakers to create supportive workplace cultures for breastfeeding and pumping parents. She is currently co-developing the first set of infant feeding policy guidelines for the screen industry, in collaboration with WonderWorks and Lola & Lykke. Ruth combines professional expertise with lived experience, giving her a unique ability to connect with parents and employers alike. Her work champions inclusivity, empowerment, and practical solutions that help families thrive.

Office Manager at Aflac

Rachael Campbell is Office Manager at Aflac Northern Ireland with a background in hospitality management and a passion for building inclusive, supportive workplaces. She played a key role in the fit-out and opening of her company’s award-winning new premises at City Quays 3, recognised by the Belfast Chamber for Best Business Premises 2024. Alongside her MSc from Queen’s University Belfast, she holds a CMI Level 5 in Leadership & Management, as well as a recent professional development certificate in Strategy from Ulster University. An active member of Aflac NI’s Diversity, Equity & Inclusion and Employee Engagement Committees, she advocates for working parents, smooth “returnity” to the workplace and creating family-friendly workplaces. She is also passionate about the use of British Sign Language and inclusion for d/Deaf and hard of hearing people, inspired by her younger sister’s experiences. As the eldest daughter in a family of eight, and now mother to a young son, she brings a personal commitment to raising the next generation with empathy, respect and equality.
