TwitterFor the first time at Entrepreneurs Connect, we are going to focus the entire session on working on your business. This will be a practical session, with lots of conversations and connections so you grow your community, all while working on your business.
Too often in business, even experienced founders do not communicate as well as they could to potential buyers, customers, partners, stakeholders or funders what they do, what value they can bring and why work with them. Or you may have a brilliant pitch or marketing message but you are not a natural public speaker, lack experience and need a little bit of practice.
This session will focus on:
• What makes you different
• What value do you bring to your customer
• How to construct your Value proposition (or how to refresh your current one)
• Whether you need more than one Value proposition
• Objective advice from your peers on your messaging and your business offer
• Does your value proposition align with your marketing assets?
• How to speak in public – do’s and don’ts
• How to have presence and influence
• Practice speaking opportunities
It’s a practical workshop where you will work through activities helping you to finetune what you say about your business and how you say it.
Please note: we will not force anyone to speak in front of the room, in case the idea terrifies you…but we will ask you to work in small groups of 3-4 people
