Guest speaker:

Grainne Kelly

Grainne Kelly

CEO and founder of BubbleBum

BubbleBum is the world’s first inflatable car booster seat - born out of the need for a portable, convenient child’s car booster seat for travelling and has now grown to be a global best seller. Having already negotiated deals with the world’s biggest retailers, in 2015 Grainne decided to change the business model from retail to ecommerce where possible. Grainne has navigated everything from product development to marketing, from raising funding to regulatory legislation. The business survived a pandemic and she simultaneously survived a cancer diagnosis while pivoting the business yet again. Grainne is an award winning business owner, from the British American Business Transatlantic Growth Award to the Innovation Award CBME, China. She was also invited to join the UK Prime Minister’s Business Council for Entrepreneurs in 2018 and sits on a number of other boards including the Baby Product Association UK.
