Guest Speaker:

Rosemary Deans

Founder & Manager, Seasons Coffee + Studio

Rosemary Deans, Founder & Manager, Seasons Coffee + Studio I run Seasons Coffee + Studio, in Newry — a coffee house, yoga studio, and therapy space all under one roof, built on the idea that wellness shouldn't come with a velvet rope round it. It started as a community coffee meetup eleven years ago and somehow snowballed into a bricks and mortar building, a teacher and facilitator collective, a studio membership + a space for social wellness events. In a previous life I was a full time Social Worker throughout the week., who also worked evenings and weekends as a Yoga teacher and therapist in reflexology and massage. Following a challenging transition into Motherhood, I stepped away from Social Work and started to share practices with others, that helped me through birth trauma and perinatal mental health. Almost 10 years later, day to day day is keeping a coffee house, a studio, and run community projects in conjunction with organisations, private business, the local Trust, Council and charities. I have also dipped my toe in mentoring startups, alongside the local enterprise agency and have recently completed my coaching qualification. I am passionate about business, wellness, with a particular interest in supporting women in growing their business and sharing the chaos of building both at once.
