At a glance…

Women in Business want to support our members with resources and support where there is gender disparity. Our recent Member Survey 2025 showed that over 67% of participants are struggling with the cost of living, inflation and the current economic climate. With the gender pay gap and women being more likely to take time out of work for childcare/ caring responsibilities, on average, women have smaller savings over time. This often means a lower mortgage borrowing capacity and longer timelines to save for a deposit.

Join us in collaboration with We Are IQ as we explore how to get on the property ladder. Discover how to build a solid foundation for your financial well-being when it comes to buying your first home. Learn the important steps to buying your first home from building your credit file, saving through cash ISAs and understanding mortgage options and the possibilities of co-ownership. We will be joined by Tanya Martin, Founder and Managing Director of both IQ&CO Trusted Financial Advice and Mortgage IQ.
