At 33, my most important role is being a mammy to my toddler, but alongside motherhood I've built a varied career spanning retail, games development, and technology. I'm currently part of the Learning and Development team at Alchemy Technology Services, where I have the privilege of helping people learn, grow, and succeed in their careers. My professional journey began in retail management with Marks & Spencer before moving into an Events and Facilities Coordinator role within the games industry. These experiences gave me a strong appreciation for people, culture, and creating environments where others can thrive. I'm passionate about lifelong learning and get genuine satisfaction from seeing people build confidence, develop new skills, and achieve things they didn't think were possible. I'm delighted to be part of this event and to share my experiences of navigating career changes, working in tech, and balancing professional growth with motherhood.
