Due to sudden and permanent sight loss as a teenager, Claire Bowes has navigated most of her life without sight, transforming what many might see as a limitation into a source of strength, innovation, and inspiration. A dynamic business owner, keynote speaker, and mother, Claire embodies resilience—proving that adversity can be the foundation for success. Claire is the founder and director of Omagh Music Academy, a thriving centre for music education in Northern Ireland. As a music educator and piano teacher, she nurtures creativity and confidence in her students, empowering them to become expressive, skilled musicians. Alongside running Omagh Music Academy, Claire is pursuing a PhD in music education, researching effective memorisation strategies for blind children learning to play piano. An engaging keynote speaker, Claire delivers powerful talks that inspire audiences to embrace challenges as stepping stones to success. Her unique blend of personal story, professional expertise, and passion for the arts makes her an exceptional voice in both education and business.
