Guest Speakers:

Brídín Mullan

Brídín Mullan

Founder of Orba Yoga Retreat & Health Spa

Brídín Mullan is the founder of Orba Yoga Retreat & Health Spa in Omagh, County Tyrone, where she's spent nearly two decades building a thriving wellness business from the ground up. What started as a passion discovered on the beaches of Thailand has evolved into a comprehensive retreat offering yoga, Pilates, spa treatments, and professional teacher training programs. With over 1,000 hours of yoga training under her belt and a deep commitment to authentic, nature-connected practice, Brídín has created a unique space that blends traditional yoga philosophy with modern wellness needs. She's passionate about ethical living, runs international retreats in Spain and India, and has learned plenty of hard lessons (and celebrated some good wins) while building a sustainable wellness business in rural Northern Ireland. When she's not teaching or running the spa, you'll find her hiking mountains, spending time with her rescue animals or travelling to some obscure destination.

Cathy Barr

Cathy Barr

Cathy Barr, BSc (Hons), Independent Nurse Prescriber (NMP)

Cathy Barr is an independent nurse prescriber and the founder of CCB Aesthetics, Health & Wellness in Banbridge, Northern Ireland. She has over 30 years of experience in healthcare, with the majority of her career spent in cardiology, including 13 years as a Heart Failure Nurse Specialist. Cathy has been an independent prescriber since 2015 and brings a strong clinical, evidence based approach to everything she does. After many years in the NHS, Cathy transitioned into medical aesthetics to return to truly patient centred care. Her clinic focuses on subtle, natural results, safety, and informed decision making, offering medically led aesthetic treatments, advanced skin consultations, medical weight management, and wellness focused care. Cathy is passionate about professionalism in aesthetics, raising standards, and helping women build businesses that are ethical, sustainable, and grounded in real expertise. She is particularly interested in the realities of stepping out of long term employment to build a regulated healthcare business, and the confidence it takes to do things properly in an increasingly unregulated industry.
