My career journey spans 18 years in Danske Bank across a variety of roles in retail and leadership in Operations before moving into Consultancy and then finally finding my home in Automation a few years ago. My inner geek and enthusiasm for Digital inspired me to deepen my knowledge, and I am now in my final year of completing a Masters in Fintech Management through the apprenticeship programme. Im really Passionate about supporting others and a lot of my volunteering centres around bringing more women into Technology and inspiring the next generation of Technical Leaders. along with working on our schools’ programme for our Origins race quality Network in Danske Bank. From Newtownabbey, married to Gary and mum to Ben (10) and Miles (8), Stark the Collie and Obi the Lab.
Nicola Moloney is the Managing Director of Product Management at Options Technology, where she has evolved professionally, taking on greater challenges and leadership responsibilities over the last 4 years. She began her journey in technical support, moved into technical account management, and in the last year stepped into her current role leading product management. In her current role, Nicola oversees AtlasWorkplace, the company’s desktop offering, while playing a supporting role across several other products She manages a team of account managers and is known for her dedication to going above and beyond to deliver exceptional value to customers and colleagues alike. Nicola is deeply committed to the success and growth of Options Technology, driving innovation, strengthening product offerings, and ensuring that the company continues to expand its impact in the market. Her leadership blends operational insight, customer focus, and strategic vision, helping to shape both the company’s current successes and future direction.
Alison has over 30 years' experience working in technology, starting out as System Officer in Leeds Business School, through small business & technology startups to leading global teams delivering Enterprise-grade systems in Allstate. Throughout her career she has led in many roles including database administration, systems design, software engineering, edge computing and web (SAAS) application development with a particular focus on financials. She has been a PMP-accredited Program Manager for a time and has gravitated towards Digital Product Management in recent years. Throughout her career she has continuously engaged customers and critical stakeholders, with curiosity and passion to find quicker, better ways to solve problems and provide flexible solutions that customers love. Alison has been with Allstate for 12 years and has worked across various programs, naturally landing in Billing & Payments, where she leads the Product Strategy for technology that processes over $40bn annually. She has led in the transformation from traditional insurance to a 21st century protection business, where customers can pay for the products they want with ease, clarity & choice. Alison graduated from the University of Leeds in 1992 with a BSc (Hons) in Accounting and Data Processing. As a lifelong learner, she has continued over the years, including a self-directed PG Diploma through the Open University. She is a passionate advocate for Women in Technology, in Allstate Globally and locally here in Northern Ireland. She is proud of the many women whose careers have thrived with the support of these networks. Alison lives in Derry and spends lots of in Donegal with family and friends. She has retained her love of music (indie, electronic, dance) and regularly makes time to go to gigs in Belfast, Dublin and beyond.
