Following the success of the annual Women in Tech Conference, this event aims to foster connections and share insights in a relaxed atmosphere. Join us at Kainos, Belfast and hear from inspiring speakers about their career journeys in the industry and connect with other Women in Tech.
The tech industry has historically been male-dominated, leading to significant gender disparities in representation, leadership, and pay. Women in Tech Connect aims to help address this imbalance by fostering connections, support, and opportunities for growth within the industry.

Kate Campbell

Software Engineer at Pytilia

I am Graduate Software Engineer at Pytilia in Belfast, working as a back-end engineer for global wealth management clients. I love the fast-paced nature of the role and the continuous learning. I first joined Pytilia as an intern during university, and came back as a graduate after finishing my degree in Computer Science at Queen's in Belfast last year. Outside of my day-to-day work, I'm also the Chair of Pytilia's Women in Engineering group, where I'm passionate about creating space, community, and visibility for women in tech.

Barbara Rollo

Delivery Director at Kainos

I am a Delivery Director at Kainos, based in Belfast. I moved to Kainos 6 years ago after 22 years working at Equiniti. I started my career as a software Engineer and have had many different roles over the years. In my current role I manage 6 teams located in the UK, Poland and India who provide automated testing services to approx. 250 customers globally

Briege Smith

Head of Professional Services at Wellington IT

A year ago, I left a secure role in energy tech to start fresh in financial software — with two small kids at home and no sector experience. Now, I lead Professional Services at Wellington IT, overseeing implementation, consultancy, and service delivery. I’m passionate not just about delivering service, but about delivering tangible, positive outcomes for our customers
