Main Purpose of Job
The role of the Administrator/ Marketing Assistant is to work as part of the team to provide:
- Membership Administration and administrative support across all WIB’s activities, ensuring associated tasks are completed in an efficient, professional and timely manner.
- To administer, monitor and populate all social media platforms under the direction of the Business Development Manager
This is an exciting opportunity for someone to work in a fast-paced environment with great exposure to business and networking.
Hours of work: Monday to Thursday 9am-5pm, Friday 9am-4pm – some flexibility will be required when attending events
Main Purpose of Job
Membership, Social Media and office administration
Main Duties
- Membership Administration – maintain all membership databases and records, follow up membership renewals, register all new members, respond to member queries,
- Social Media Administration – monitor and where appropriate populate and respond to all social media platforms
- Office Administration – respond to and/or process all member enquiries/communications and file paperwork, process invoices, maintain stationary levels, answer phone, respond to admin emails
- To undertake all other duties as instructed by the Business Development Manager
Criteria
- Min 6 months work experience in a business environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Highly motivated, able to achieve within a fast paced and target-driven environment
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office
- Competent in the use of social media platforms for promotional purposes
- Prioritising, time management and organisational skills
- Resilience and openness to feedback and learning
- A levels /degree or equivalent would be desirable
