HCIL Enterprises Founder and CEO Recognised as Outstanding Woman in Business

Celebrating and championing the achievements of Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough’s diverse, innovative and energetic business community, the second ABC Business Awards took place recently.
 
Attracting 240 business, industry and council representatives, the awards night saw over forty local businesses vie for the top spot of 13 hotly contested award categories, designed to recognise business success, growth and innovation across a range of sectors.
 
Mairead Mackle, CEO and Founder of HCIL Enterprises was awarded the coveted Outstanding Woman in Business accolade.  Recognised for her commitment to business over the last 24 years, entrepreneurial spirit demonstrated in the diverse suite of businesses she owns and operates, and the positive impact she has had on local communities through the iCare charity and community interest group, Evolve Women - Mairead was celebrated as the deserving category winner.

With over 24 years’ experience, Mairead has built her suite of progressive businesses into a dynamic team of 1,200 passionate and professional staff located across Ireland and UAE tackling prevalent social issues including homelessness & healthy aging with businesses ventures such as iCare Digital and Fabraco.
 
Homecare Independent Living (HCIL) delivers 1,000,000 hours of care to 60,000 clients annually and provides 2,200 beds every night for vulnerable families.  Homecare Housing manages 1,000 properties across Ireland.
