Carson McDowell Announces Promotion of Eight to Legal Director

Carson McDowell is delighted to announce the promotion of eight senior associates to its newly established role of Legal Director. This development reflects the firm’s ongoing commitment to recognising exceptional talent and investing in its people.

The newly appointed Legal Directors are, Denise Phillips, Defence Insurance, Karla Dooey, Commercial, Joanne Harrison-Jones, Healthcare Regulatory & Professional Discipline, Gillian Greenfield, Professional Indemnity, Niamh Magee, Procurement, Andrew Davison, Private Client, Helen Cosgrove, Litigation & Dispute Resolution and Ciara Hanratty, Healthcare Regulatory & Professional Discipline, Dublin.

With over 210 people working across more specialist legal areas than any other local law firm, Carson McDowell is Northern Ireland’s largest independent law firm.

So far this year, the firm has promoted 17 people. In addition to the Legal Director and Partner promotions announced in September, five solicitors were promoted to Senior Associate: Genevieve Brindley, Healthcare Claims – Dublin, Andrew McWilliams, Real Estate, Hannah Porter, Media, Communications and Reputation, Naomi Lamont, Private Client and Charlotte Keelty, Healthcare Claims – Belfast.
