Hello! We’re Jill O’Reilly & Caoilfhionn Buckley and we want to tell you about our Leadership Book Club

We’re both proud Women in Business members with a passion for all things leadership - and a shared love of Brené Brown - which first sparked our friendship and collaboration.

As leadership coaches, we share a belief that leadership isn’t about having all the answers, it’s about showing up authentically, building trust, and creating the conditions for others to thrive. That’s why we’ve launched the Leadership Book Club - a relaxed and engaging space for leaders to connect, learn, and put fresh insights into action.

Our first book is The Power of Wonder by Monica C. Parker – a brilliant read (or listen!) that explores how curiosity, awe and fresh perspectives can spark better thinking, stronger connections, and more innovative leadership.

📚 Book Club Dates

Tuesday 30th September 7–8.30pm (UK time) → Discussion on the first half of the book
Tuesday 28th October 7–8.30pm (UK time) → Dive into the second half

Both sessions are online via Zoom – so you can join from anywhere.

We chose The Power of Wonder because leadership isn’t just about strategy and results – it’s also about how we see the world, how we connect with people, and how we stay open to possibility even when challenges come our way.

Monica C. Parker’s book brings this to life with practical tools and fresh perspectives, showing how curiosity, awe, and wonder can spark better thinking, stronger connections, and more innovative leadership.

It’s a book that invites us to pause, reflect, and bring more openness and creativity into how we lead - which felt like the perfect place to start our Book Club journey.
