Nicholl Fuel Oils Team Raises £6,590 for Macmillan After Completing Giant’s Causeway Mighty Hike

The Nicholl Fuel Oils Fuel Tank Trekkers have successfully completed the Macmillan Cancer Support Giant’s Causeway Mighty Hike, achieving an impressive fundraising total of £6,590 in support of people living with cancer.

Taking on the challenging coastal route along one of Northern Ireland’s most iconic landscapes, the team demonstrated determination, resilience and teamwork throughout the event, with every participant crossing the finish line. The Giant’s Causeway Mighty Hike forms part of Macmillan’s nationwide Mighty Hikes series, which brings together thousands of walkers each year to raise vital funds for people affected by cancer. Participants can choose from half or full marathon distances in locations across the UK, helping Macmillan provide life-changing support for the almost 3.5 million people currently living with cancer.

The Fuel Tank Trekkers’ efforts were matched by the outstanding generosity of supporters, helping the team not only reach but substantially exceed its original fundraising target of £3,500. The final total of £6,590 will help Macmillan continue delivering practical, emotional and financial support to those affected by cancer when they need it most. Macmillan’s Mighty Hikes have become one of the charity’s most successful fundraising initiatives, bringing together communities across the UK to make a meaningful difference.
