Genysys Engine takes a new approach to websites and digital marketing, we use a digital twin system to represent your company accurately online. For those not from the tech world, a Digital Twin is a fully working virtual copy of a real-life physical system, in our case, this system is your business.
With this system, we create your business a digital platform, composed of digital assets which feed live data and pass authority to each other, delivering better results than any other method of building a website.
With Genysys Engine, you never build anything yourself. We give you a dashboard to upload as much content and information about your business as you would like. When you are ready for this to go live, simply create a task and let us know when you want it done! We will integrate this into your website for you ensuring content writing and design standards are met across your digital assets.
Our management hub is decentralised from your website and allows you to add new content, view results, accept recommendations and communicate with our team. We separated this for better security, flexibility, and performance for your business.
I am the CEO and Co-founder of Genysys Engine, and due to our small team size, I wear many hats. My daily tasks can include anything that needs to be done. I spend the majority of my day listening to problems and coming up with solutions, planning our strategies & processes, talking to clients and marketing our company.
2. What has been your career journey so far?
I graduated from the University of Dundee in 2016, where I studied Philosophy. As much as I loved it, I spent the majority of my University Career setting up societies and holding committee positions. By holding events, I found a love for marketing. After University, I took an internship at a local charity, and within 6 months I was their digital marketing executive.
In 2018, I began working freelance, creating, and marketing websites for businesses worldwide. I kept coming across the same limitations and struggles small businesses faced online. I wanted to solve it, so I traveled to the digital nomad capital of the world, Chiang Mai, Thailand, looking for a developer with a unique set of skills. This is where I met my Australian Co-Founder, Matthew Eaton, and after working together for a few months, we decided to build a tool to solve the problem. This was the beginning of Genysys Engine, fast forward 3 years of R&D, the tool has expanded into an engine that can create a virtual working copy of your business online.
3. Describe yourself in 3 words.
Motivated, persistent, reliable.
4. What is the 1 skill that helps you the most in your role?
Communication, my role revolves around communicating with others, whether it's communicating with my team, investors, or clients.
5. Do you have any advice for your fellow Women in Tech
Working in tech can lead us down many exciting paths and it's easy to get caught up in the R&D and lose sight of what our target market will pay money for. My advice would be to set steps within your project plan to reassess how it aligns with your target market.
6. Are there any exciting plans on the way for Genysys Engine?
Working in a tech company, there is always something exciting around the corner. We are currently planning our next project to take our engine from 80% automation to above 90%. This will allow us to launch a free version of our software for startup businesses. We are also hiring 3 new members of staff in the next coming months.
7. Who is an inspiration in your career?
My inspiration has to my Co-Founder and Fiancé, Matthew Eaton. He inspires me every day to be the best version of myself. He leads by example and lives by his values. His work ethic is unparalleled with any human I have ever met, and if you could see his mind work and what he creates, you would believe magic exists. And that’s what he does for me every day, he makes me believe I can create anything I set my mind to and encourages me to grow both professionally and personally to challenge my limitations that hold me back.
8. What’s your favourite break time snack?
My favourite snack is a coffee and a raspberry jam doughnut.
9. If you had to pick your soundtrack song to get you through the working day, what would it be?
Gerry Cinnamon – Canter.
10. How can your fellow WIB members keep up to date with you and the team at Genysys Engine?
