Laura Byrne
Owner of Laura Jane The Label
For me, dressing women is so much more than designing
them clothes and giving them advice, it’s about empowering them through fashion.I have always had a real love for fashion, from dressing my dolls in my hand-sewn handiwork, to dressing myself in my customised creations and always talking pride in piecing together my outfits. Coming from a hospitality background, I took a career change to manage a women’s boutique which brought out a natural talent and love for dressing other women too. Watching their confidence grow when I helped them find the perfect outfit gave me a real sense of pride and so my journey in the fashion industry began.
In 2018, I trained as a Personal Stylist at the Colour and Image Academy in Cork and from the very first day, I knew that I had found my passion. My work as a stylist and blog over the last number of years has not only gained me the wonderful support and appreciation of my following and clients but has also provided me with a front row seat on women’s attitude to fashion, their understanding of style and their relationship with their clothes. In Spring 22, I designed my very own clothing collection ‘LAURA JANE The Label’. The collection is made up of high-quality, affordable pieces that are suitable for women of all ages, body shapes and dress sizes. They are timeless, seasonless pieces that will stand the test of time.

Grace Fitzpatrick
Founder of Gra Matcha
Less than a year ago, I launched Grá Matcha with a simple mission: to bring the authentic taste of high-quality Japanese matcha to Belfast.
After struggling with migraines, I swapped coffee for matcha and I haven't looked back. While living abroad in Singapore and later visiting Japan, matcha became my favourite ‘cup of tea.’ I was surprised when I moved home to Ireland to find that so many people in Belfast had never even tried it.
Through my personal journey, I discovered the unique health benefits and rich cultural heritage of matcha, and I became passionate about sharing that with others, especially with local cafés.
Grá means "love" in Irish, and that’s exactly what goes into every cup. From sourcing 100% ceremonial-grade matcha from Kagoshima to ensuring it's served beautifully in local cafés or accessible at home with our home kits, my goal is to offer people the best possible first experience of matcha.
Since launching, I’ve been proud to showcase Grá at events like EastBlock Bazaar, Joya Wellness, and WellFest Ireland, and to connect with a growing community of matcha lovers across the country. Whether you're curious or a long-time fan, Grá Matcha is here to offer a smoother, more mindful alternative to caffeine—with love, from Belfast. I am so excited to be attending the All Island Female Entrepreneurs Conference 2025 to introduce you all to Grá Matcha.

Aileen McGuire
Owner & Founder of Apiphany Jewellery
I own a small business called Apiphany Jewellery, which I launched in 2020 during lockdown. It began as a hobby when I taught myself to make jewellery while stuck at home, but it quickly grew as people started buying my creations. Today, I offer a wide range of jewellery and accessories on my website and love selling at local markets during the summer and Christmas seasons. Over the years, I’ve supported local charities, such as Southern Area Hospice and PIPS Hope and Support, by designing special earrings to raise funds. I manage all aspects of my business, including buying, packaging orders, finances, and—my favorite part—marketing, especially on social media. In April this year, I launched Sip n Sparkle, a jewellery-making workshop that has been a great success. I’ve hosted several events so far, including hen parties, private gatherings, and collaborations with well-known drink brands. All of this happens alongside my full-time role as a Digital Marketing Executive at MJM Marine in Newry. People often ask how I manage it all, but when you truly love what you do, it doesn’t feel like work—that’s exactly how I feel about my business.
