Showcasing Excellence Across NI’s Tech Sector
Thursday 23 April 2026
The Women in Tech Awards bring together NI’s thriving tech sector for a gala evening celebrating best‑in‑class talent and the sector’s continued positive impact on the local economy. The awards recognise and celebrate women who innovate, challenge and embrace technology, alongside the allies and advocates helping to shape a more inclusive future. Some of our 2025 award winners took time to share their reflections on what being recognised at the Women in Tech Awards truly means to them.
Dr Jonathan Sinclair, Inclutech Ltd | Male Advocate of the Year 2025.
Winning Male Advocate of the Year 2025 at the Women in Tech Awards was a genuinely meaningful moment for me, both personally and professionally. It wasn’t just recognition of my own work, but of something I strongly believe in; creating space, opportunity and support for women in tech is everyone’s responsibility.
In my role at Inclutech, I’ve made a conscious effort to support and mentor female colleagues, helping them build confidence, develop their skills and progress in their careers. Some of the most rewarding moments have been seeing that growth turn into leadership, ownership and real impact within the team.
Beyond our organisation, I’ve also been fortunate to work with and mentor female founders and early-stage startups, sharing experiences and helping navigate the challenges of building and scaling in the tech sector. There is an incredible depth of talent, innovation and resilience, and it’s important we continue to champion and elevate those voices.
The award has helped amplify that message and given me a stronger platform to advocate for inclusive leadership and equal opportunity across the sector.
I’d strongly encourage anyone to apply, nominate a colleague or put forward someone they believe deserves recognition. These awards really do matter, not just for the individuals, but for the visibility they create and the inspiration they give to others coming through.
Emma McKenna, Head of Sustainable Manufacturing at the Advanced Manufacturing Innovation Centre | Green Impact Award Winner.
Winning the Green Impact Award at the Women in Tech Awards 2025 and to be recognised alongside such incredible women, both those that were nominated and won, was such an honour. The inclusion of the Green Impact at the Women in Tech Awards signals that environmental impact is as important as innovation and commercial success and it gives visibility to initiatives and solutions tackling climate challenges.
I would wholeheartedly encourage anyone to apply or nominate others, the Women in Tech awards is creating real momentum and can help inspire more women to lead and innovate in impactful ways.
Lyn Harris, Partner, Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer | C Level Woman of the Year.
Being recognised at the Women in Tech Awards in Northern Ireland was incredibly meaningful, and I was proud that the work we have been doing in legal technology was acknowledged. The award reflected the collective efforts of the teams I lead who deliver innovative, technology‑led change in this region with international impact for our clients. I would strongly encourage women in tech to apply or put others forward. These awards give visibility to impactful work that is often done quietly and show what is possible within Northern Ireland’s tech community.
