HNH Human Capital on the Benefits of Executive Coaching

HNH Human Capital, a boutique Recruitment Consultancy working with major clients across Northern Ireland, have expanded to include Executive Coaching and have welcomed on board Chartered Psychologist and Executive Coach Patricia Abbott to their team.

Patricia specialises in Executive coaching and Leadership development. Preparing leaders for more senior positions and coaching executive teams. She has over 20 years’ experience and has worked closely with SME’s across Northern Ireland as well as global companies across all industry sectors.

She is a Chartered Occupational Psychologist and an accredited Master Executive Coach, with strong commercial acumen.

Patricia’s consulting services also extend beyond coaching to include talent management, leadership development, executive selection and assessment, 360 feedback and employee engagement.

The Benefits of Executive Coaching

A recent CIPD survey reported that over 80% of businesses use executive coaching for targeted development, the reported benefits include:

Developing high potential employees
Achieving higher performance
Enhancing team effectiveness
Improving leadership wellbeing
Addressing conflict
Providing a confidential sounding board for Chief Executives & senior leaders

Sarah Orange, Managing Partner HNH Human Capital says: “As we have grown our Executive Search division we have come to appreciate that skills development and mentoring is equally important to clients and candidates alike.”

“Staff retention is a key focus for many companies as the war on talent continues. With continued Foreign Direct Investment and new organisations entering the marketplace as well as competition for talent from Dublin and the UK offering more than simply competitive salaries, Northern Ireland employers really need to take a look at their offering.”

“When engaging with Executive candidates we have found that the motivating factors for making a career move are generally; having reached a plateau, in need of a new challenge, boredom and no longer feeling that they add value.”

“From a client’s perspective, motivated people work harder, are more loyal and achieve more so it is vital for their bottom line to recruit and retain the best people”.

“Marissa Mayer, former President, CEO Yahoo put it best when she said: ‘It’s about people getting the best people, retaining them, nurturing a creative environment, and helping to find a way to innovate.’
