Homeowners offered helping hand
Savvy homeowners are being urged to make the most of a lucrative offer to save money on selling their property through an innovative scheme launched today by Belfast-based estate agency Lough & Quay.
Wednesday 28 May 2014

Lough & Quay will waive the standard Estate Agency fee for completion of the property sale, while Agnew Andress Higgins will work on your behalf covering legal conveyance and solicitor fees.
Alison McCullough, Senior Property Sale Consultant, from Lough & Quay said, “The property market continues to recover and we are seeing first hand rising prices across our portfolio of homes. We pride ourselves on going above and beyond for our customers and bring a fresh approach to the Northern Ireland property market.
“While we welcome the recovery in the property market, we know that many homeowners are making tough choices about whether or not to sell their homes. This is why we are offering this initiative, alongside our targeted marketing campaigns and in-depth knowledge of the property market, to ensure that we can deliver for our customers and maintain long-term relationships with them.”
The balance of surveyors reporting rising prices in the latest RICS and Ulster Bank Residential Market Survey for Northern Ireland was at the survey’s highest since May 2007. It was the ninth consecutive month in which more local chartered surveyor respondents reported rising prices than falling prices.
A net balance of 65% of respondents to the survey said that prices were up in the three months to the end of February (65% saying that they were higher in the period, 35% saying that they were the same, and 0% saying that they were lower). This follows positive price data every month since June 2013.
With almost 30 years’ experience handling domestic and commercial property sales, Andrew Andress Higgins solicitors are on hand to offer customers the highest standards of professional advice on the sale of their property - all for free.
Sean Robb, Director, Agnew Andress Higgins Solicitors, said, “Navigating your way through the legal aspects of selling your home can be difficult and we want to ensure that clients receive impartial advice that allows them to maximise on their sale.
“We chose to work with Lough & Quay because they share our same commitment to delivering the best for our clients. With the continual increases in house prices across Northern Ireland, we are hopefully returning to a period of stability in the property market, which can only be welcomed.”
