Hyster-Yale Group Celebrate 40 Years of their Craigavon Plant

In the month of September, our Craigavon plant embraced the Sunshine with a BBQ to mark their belated 40th Birthday!

The Craigavon facility manufactures Counterbalanced Electric Rider and Internal Combustion forklift trucks ranging from 1.5-5.5 ton capacity for both the Hyster® and Yale® brands. 

The facility has been producing products since 1981 and Craigavon's location in Northern Ireland provides easy access to major road, rail, and seaport links.

The Plant was born on April 7th, 1981, however, due to COVID restrictions its 40th milestone in 2021 couldn't be marked.

It was a celebratory moment in which all employees gathered under the sun for a delightful BBQ, courtesy of our amazing canteen staff from Mount Charles.

Our Senior Vice President, Managing Director of EMEA - Stewart D. Murdoch, Lynn Cooper (Director HR Business Partnering, EMEA), and Vince Cooke (VP of Sales EMEA) also added to the festivities with their presence.
