You are invited to Portadown Cares Does Strictly Come Dancing 2024
*Charity & Marketing Opportunity
It is an annual, the biggest in the area, charity event. This year, for the 8th time, 16 couples will take part in a dancing competition to raise money for a charity of their choice. Over two nights, in March 2024, approximately 900 people will be in attendance to watch us perform at the Seagoe Hotel in Portadown. This event is choreographed by professional dance teachers who spend every Tuesday, for 6 months, teaching us all how to dance. The amount of effort and time everybody puts into it is tremendous.
We ask local businesses to support us through business sponsorship. In return your business logo will be featured:
1) on the profile page in the event programme alongside the dancers (us) – given to all people in the audience
2) beside our faces on the 12ft TV screens at the venue on the nights of the event
3) On Portadown Cares' social media press releases about the couple (us) before the event
I am sure the majority of you have kids, grandkids, nephews or nieces. We are given the most precious gift in the world. There is nothing more rewarding than seeing them learn and grow. Every stage of their development is a new adventure and watching them reach milestones is genuinely remarkable. As they get older, you see them start to develop their personalities, and you can't help but be proud of all they have accomplished. It is truly priceless to witness.
>>> Can you imagine a day when you notice that your little one's development slows down or stops altogether?
>>> Can you imagine your loved one starting to lose some of their abilities, gradually developing severe problems with communication and language, memory, hand use, mobility, coordination and other brain functions?
>>> Can you imagine your little person struggling with breathing, seizures and arrhythmia for the rest of their lives (some with a life expectancy of 40-50 years)?
This is when NI Children's Hospice can help. It is a wonderful team of highly skilled and experienced people who do everything they can to support the ones in need.
Despite receiving some government funding, Northern Ireland Children's Hospice relies heavily on the generosity of the local community to continue delivering their life-changing work. That's why my husband and I are participating in the upcoming charity appeal event - Portadown Cares Does Strictly Come Dancing. Our charity of choice is Northern Ireland Children's Hospice.
This incredible organization provides vital care and support to over 370 babies, children, and young people each year through their dedicated in-patient unit and Specialist Community Nursing Team. They also extend their services to families, offering support from diagnosis through bereavement.
Join us in making a difference by supporting us as we dance our hearts out at Portadown Cares Does Strictly Come Dancing 2024 on March 1st and 2nd!
Please get in touch with me if you would like to get involved and Show The World That You Care.
