Tell us about your role and your organisation
I am an Intuitive Energy Practitioner passionate about helping women feel like themselves again by reconnecting with the power they already hold within. As a solo entrepreneur, my purpose is to support as many women as possible to rediscover who they truly are, empowering them to live with greater confidence, clarity and self-belief.
Give us a brief overview of your career journey so far
After leaving school, I worked in administrative roles but quickly realised that the work wasn't fulfilling me. As a single mum, I made the decision to return to college and train in beauty therapy, a path that felt far more aligned with my interests and passions.
In 2007, I qualified in beauty therapy, massage and reflexology. While I loved helping clients look and feel their best, I always felt that the experience offered something deeper. I wanted every treatment to provide women with valuable time for themselves, no matter how short or long their visit.
Just before the pandemic, I began my own healing journey, which became a turning point in both my personal and professional life. Following redundancy during COVID-19, I took the opportunity to start my own business - Mourneview Holistic. Through this experience, I reconnected with myself, worked through personal challenges and discovered the powerful impact of holistic and energy-based practices.
Since then, I have gained qualifications in Integrated Energy Therapy, Reiki, massage, reflexology and The Goddess Glow. In February 2026, I followed my heart and transitioned fully into holistic practice. Today, I work with clients on a one-to-one basis, host retreats and facilitate women's circles, creating supportive spaces where women can feel seen, heard and empowered to reconnect with themselves.
What is one skill that helps you most in your role and why?
My greatest strength is my ability to hold space for women. Beyond simply listening, I focus on truly seeing and understanding the person in front of me. Creating a safe, supportive and relaxing environment allows women to let go, be present and give themselves permission to focus on their own wellbeing.
What advice do you have for women in your industry?
Remember that your needs matter. Prioritising yourself is not selfish. The more you care for and invest in yourself, the more you have to give to others.
I truly believe that every woman is here for a purpose and has something unique to contribute. One of my daily mantras is:
"I am here, therefore I am loved."
Are there any exciting plans in the year ahead that you can share with us?
I'm focused on creating more opportunities to support women through talks, workshops and transformational programmes. My goal is to expand my reach and help even more women reconnect with their own power and potential.
Who has been your biggest career inspiration and why?
Rather than one individual, I am inspired by the many incredible women I have met throughout my healing journey. Their willingness to uplift, support and encourage other women has shown me the true power of sisterhood and community.
What's the best way for our members to connect with you?
The best way to connect with me is through my social media channels - Facebook or Instagram and my website.
Describe how your membership with Women in Business has helped you in your career
I joined Women in Business at the start of the summer after attending a networking walk, which I thoroughly enjoyed. One of the aspects I value most is being surrounded by women who genuinely support one another. I've already had the opportunity to learn from others, make meaningful connections and continue growing both personally and professionally.
Networking is still relatively new to me, but being part of the network has encouraged me to put myself out there more, build relationships and find new ways to support others.
Want to raise your profile across the Women in Business network? Make the most of your membership benefits by completing a Member Profile Form and sharing your story, expertise and achievements with our community.
